Saturday Recap

Emcore (EMKR) will be releasing earnings on Monday before the bell, a few other ones to watch will be Best Buy and Circuit City. I realize that consumer confidence isn't as positive as it once was, but compared to tuesday, this coming week should be more of an uptrend. About Emcore from Yahoo Finance:

It operates in two segments, Fiber Optics and Photovoltaics. The Fiber Optics segment offers optical components, subsystems, and systems that enable the transmission of video, voice, and data over high-capacity fiber optic cables for cable television, fiber-to-the-premises, data communications, telecommunications, satellite communications, and storage area networks, as well as for video transport, defense and homeland security, and consumer products. The Photovoltaics segment provides solar products for satellite and terrestrial applications.
